Win/Win for Nevadans

Throughout 2010 and continuing in 2011, NCLEF has focused on informing Nevadans on the need for and benefits of clean energy development and its role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

• RebuildNevada.org - Information central for clean energy, providing articles, news updates, videos, blogs and links on the latest policies, regulations, actions and trends.


• “Smart from the Start” -  Workshop hosted by NCLEF, the Clean Energy Project and the Nevada Wilderness Project,  brought developers, environmentalists, naturalists and public lands officials together to build a process for clean energy siting that protects Nevada’s precious ecological diversity while diversifying our economy.


• “Clean Energy Works” - NCLEF was a lead member in this campaign to inform the public and build support for clean energy jobs and a national comprehensive clean energy and climate change reform.  Further, relationships with business, labor and environment leaders enabled us to send strong, united messages for clean energy and a healthy planet to our local, state and national leaders.  We understand that shaping Nevada’s economic future is integrally linked to national energy policy and the need to address climate change.
