Nevada Conservation League Applauds Governor Sandoval’s Appointments to Wildlife
Commission
Carson City, NV – Kyle Davis, Policy Director of the Nevada Conservation League, issued the
following statement in response to the appointment of Ken Mayer as the Director of the Nevada
Department of Wildlife and the appointment of Michael McBeath, Grant Wallace, Jack Robb,
Jeremy Drew and David McNinch to the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners.

“The Nevada Conservation League applauds Governor Sandoval’s choices to serve on the
Wildlife Commission and to head the Department of Wildlife.  The appointed individuals all
share a commitment to the scientific management of Nevada’s wildlife, and we feel will result in
a stronger conservation focus for the Commission.  These selections show what is possible when
Nevadans from all backgrounds come together around a common goal.”

The Nevada Conservation League is the independent political voice of the conservation
community. We work to maintain and enhance the natural character of Nevada and the quality of
life for Nevadans through effective advocacy, the election of pro-conservation candidates, and
building collaboration.
